I engaged Educator’s Ally last winter to find a new Director of our Upper School. EA identified a strong pool of candidates with a range of backgrounds and experiences and guided us through the interview process, remaining flexible about ways to best meet our search team’s needs. At the end of an efficient yet thorough process, we found not one but TWO terrific final candidates; I added a position to my leadership team and hired both of them! Now that they have joined the community, I realize how well our EA partners understood our school and the set of leadership qualities that would add the most to my team. They knew how important staying close to every stage of the hiring process was as a way of learning as much as possible about me as a first-year Head of School (in a pandemic), my goals, and the culture I want to nourish and cultivate over the next several years.
