Where is your happy place?
My happy place is 7am on the floor of our playroom with both of my boys.
Whether we’re all playing together or everyone is doing their own thing, to see their imaginations come to life or to laugh with them is the simplest, most fulfilling thing in the world.
Who was your favorite teacher and why?
There are a handful of teachers across my educational career who deeply inspired me, but I have to credit Mrs. Morosco, my first grade teacher, for sparking my own interest in becoming a teacher. I still remember feeling so loved and seen by her. The devotion she had to her students and to creating an engaging learning environment have always stuck with me.
What do you love about EA?
The energy and warmth that this brilliant group of women has cultivated in a work environment is unmatched!

With experience across a broad variety of school settings, she began her fifteen-year career in education as a middle school English teacher before going on to teach early childhood. From there, she shifted gears to administration and to a position as the Director of Learning at an independent school in Brooklyn.
Upon moving to Bedford, NY, with her husband and two sons, Theo and Charlie, Nell stepped out of the school side of education and into placement work.
Nell joined EA in 2019.
