We are a dedicated and diligent female-led team committed to providing the highest level of support to our schools and our candidates. Known for our thoughtful approach to search, we deliver a curated service that is rooted in respect for our partners. 

FOUNDED IN 1975

OUR TEAM

EA was founded in 1975 by Jane Burditt and Lucy Stanton, two innovative independent school educators who saw the need for an organization to connect exceptional teachers and administrators with independent schools of varied cultures and missions.​

Today, EA is led by Lisa Lovering, who with the founders, shares deep and life-long experience with independent schools. Lisa and her team remain strongly committed to the original vision of Educator’s Ally: know your candidates well; know your schools well; make the right match. And don’t waste anyone’s time in the process.
